Timelapse of the Astronomical Wonders Above Egypt’s Saint Catherine

Escaping the city life and its soul crushing energy, many have often found serenity and peace under the starry skies of Saint Catherine in Egypt’s Sinai.

This video by F-A Artwork shows just one aspect of Saint Catherine’s beauty: the astronomical wonders up above.

Unlike the northern part of the peninsula, where military forces have been engaged in a long battle with radical militants, Saint Catherine is located in a region where foreigners are warmly welcomed by locals.

Along with the starry skies, tourists can also enjoy breathtaking views while hiking, hot tea around campfires and more.

Share your experiences of Saint Catherine with us on Facebook, Twitter and the comments section below.
