Upcoming: TEDxCairo University’s Fourth Event, Metanoia Gears Up to Inspire Action

TEDxCairo University’s fourth event, ‘Metanoia’, is to be held on Saturday 28th April at the theater of 57357 hospital.

The one-day live event is inspired by ‘metanoia’, which TEDxCairo University describes as “a change in one’s heart, of consciousness, a moment of mental transformation…an instance that touches your core and swivels your mode of thinking.” It provides an opportunity for attendees to be actively inspired by the various topics presented by the speakers presenting at the event.

There will be an exciting group of speakers and performers on the day such as Mohamed Essam who uses physics to create artwork, May Abdel Aziz, a passionate musician, among many others. The topics to be discussed are similarly diverse, ranging from various scientific disciplines, through child psychology, to communications. All this will be complemented by various arts performances. More information on individual speakers, performers, and hosts, as well as where to purchase tickets, can be found on the Metanoia Facebook page.

TEDx Cairo University is a nonprofit organisation created by a small group of university students who wished to create a community where ideas and creativity could be exchanged and explored through authentic dialogue. It is passionate in its conviction that the greatest of changes begin with a thought – and that sharing these thoughts can be the gateway to changing the world.
