Alhamdulillah | About a village called Dahab from Kraakhelder Productions on Vimeo.
Dahab is today best known for being one of the most exquisite diving destinations in Egypt and the world. With stunning turquoise waters, colorful sunsets and a low-key and laid-back environment, Dahab has established itself as a must-visit Red Sea resort town.
Yet, Dahab, which translates to ‘gold’ in Arabic, wasn’t always a sunny tourist village. The town was once a Bedouin fishing village, with its beaches scattered with huts and a diverse local community.
In an attempt to highlight just some of the beautiful people of Dahab, from Bedouins to expatriates, the video ‘Alhamdulillah| About a village called Dahab’ above was filmed two years ago and has recently resurfaced on social media.
