WATCH: Omar Sharif in ‘The Agony of Love’

Three time Golden Globe winner and cinema legend Omar Sharif passed away aged 83 on Friday. The film above, The Agony of Love, is one of the tan-nightingale’s most famous Arabic movies.

In the film, Hussein, played by Omar Sharif, is a socially awkward man trying to win over the heart of Samiha, played by the late Soad Hosny. With little hope at the start, Hussein soon finds help from Samiha’s father (Youssef Wahby) who sets Hussain on a path of reinvention that will help him get the woman of his dreams.

The 1961 flick sees Omar Sharif starring alongside Soad Hosny, Hind Rostom, Youssef Wahby and Abd el-Moneim Ibrahim.
