A number of people were left injured after an explosion on a train in the London Tube on Friday morning.
The explosion, which occurred on a train at Parsons Green station at 8:20AM local time, is believed to have originated from a white bucket left inside a large shopping bag on the train.
Metropolitan and counter terror police immediately responded to the incident at the train station and are investigating whether the incident on the presumption that it was an attempted terrorist attack.
According to the Telegraph, several passengers suffered injuries as a result of the explosion, including at least one passenger with facial injuries.
London has witnessed a number of terror attacks in 2017, with the latest occurring in June when a number of terrorists attacked the London Bridge and Borough Market area.
