  • – Oh my goodness. Glad I went thrguoh all of the images, even if this was the last on the list as this is definitely the best. I’ve tried macros like this. One, they’re hard and two, even if you successfully capture them, well, then the hue/tone seems to be lacking. This is pinsharp and full of vibrance.

  • Great Gayes its me Khaled Amin look like our trip and Khamssa photo start to be arround the internet good jop very nice

  • Glad you like Quintin’s photographs from our trip to the Western Desert. You may have seen from my website that for the last six years I have been running schools expeditions in the Sinai with my Egyptian business partner. Sadly the security situation there is such that it is no possible to do so, Hence our visit to the White Desert, as an alternative location.

  • Thanks for reblogging! Check out the second part of the Journey: Sahara Sands http://blog.quintinlake.com/2013/03/18/sahara-sands/

    • No problem. Your photos are absolutely amazing and are making me jealous of your trip! I will definitely be planning a trip there soon!

      • So glad you like the photos. Sam Mconnell whom I travelled with on a recce is running trips there now with the local Bedouin http://www.sam-mcconnell-expeditions.com

        • Just had a look and it appears he carries out some extraordinary trips! If you or Sam have any experiences you’d like to share, I’d be more than happy to publish them here, share them on Facebook, or interview you and write the article myself! At a time when tourism is down, it is good to know people still have great times in Egypt!
