Middle-East’s First Chocolate Museum To Launch in Egypt

We all know of the famous movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, how it involved little Charlie Bucket who dreamed of meeting the famous Willy Wonka and getting to see his huge chocolate factory. After watching the movie starring Johnny Depp, those of us who dreamt of the Umpa Lumpa filled chocolate factory never believed that we would get a chance to see such a sight in reality. That was, until Egypt announced the opening of the first chocolate museum in the Middle East. The event is to take place from the 19th of March until the 21st in Egypt’s capital city of Cairo. It is going to be on the 8th floor of one of Cairo’s biggest shopping malls, City Stars. The 4,000 meter-square museum is to portray over 4,000 years history on chocolate and its evolution, all in a “Willy-Wonka’s factory” like fashion (although sadly there are no reports on the Umpa Lumpas as of yet).
