The price of metro tickets in Cairo to increase by 100 percent by 2018 reaching EGP 4, according to the Egyptian Transport Minister Hesham Arafat. According to Arafat, the ticket price will range between EGP 2 and EGP 4 by the last quarter of 2018, depending on the trip distance.
