Egypt’s Muslims gathered all around the capital on Wednesday to celebrate one of the most highly anticipated holidays of the year: Eid Al-Adha. The day began with Eid prayers at various mosques, followed by the ritualistic sacrifice of animals and family-centered celebrations.
