Egypt Crowned the Champion of the 2017 WSF Squash World Team Championships

Egypt won the 2017 WSF Squash World Team Championships that took place in Marseille, France from 27 November till 3 December leaving England as the runner-up.

Ramy Ashour, Karim Abdel Gawad, Marwan El-Shorbagy, and Aly Farag presented the Egyptian team at the Men’s World Team Championship.

Commenting on this victory Abdel Gawad said, “Congratulations Egypt, you are the 2017 world champion… we dedicate the 2017 world championship to the innocent souls of the Egyptian martyrs.”

This is the fourth time for Egypt to seal victory at the Men’s World Team Squash Championship. Egypt first won in 1999; afterward, it was the champion in 2009 and 2011.
