Within the world of international football, the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is one of the least celebrated and most overlooked events. But continentally, it has been a source of joy and celebration for decades.

As Egypt prepares for the 2022 AFCON Final, and potentially for breaking its own 7-title record, we remember past moments of celebration in AFCON finals over the past two decades.
