Egyptian builder Timur Al-Hadidi has revolutionized the construction process in Egypt with his latest project, which aims to build a “dream home” for him and his family using recycled materials.
Al-Hadidi bought a plot of land in the 6th of October suburbs in Cairo four years ago and has since been using everything from plastic bottles to old tires from building sites.
“With recycling, everyone can pick what they like,” Al-Hadidi says. “You will be happy in the house and know that no other house can reflect your personality.
The “dream home,” which he expects will be completed by 2016, will include at least three bedrooms, a swimming pool and an underground theater.
