You Will Never Believe What This Egyptian Table Tennis Player Can Do

If there is someone who can inspire you to chase your dreams, it is Ibrahim Hamato. Ibrahaim Hamato is a table tennis (ping pong) player, just like many other players. But there is a catch: he has no arms. “I had an accident when I was 10-years-old but I loved table tennis,” says Hamato in a video uploaded by the International Table Tennis Federation that can be viewed above. “Three years after my accident I wanted to play again by holding the racket under my arm but it didn’t work out. After trying different options, I found myself playing with my mouth.” The Egyptian table tennis player was invited to the ZEN-NOH 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championships in Tokyo as a guest of honour by ITTF President Adham Sharara. “Every match that I win makes me feel that I am achieving [my dreams],” says Hamato at the event, “God willing, I will be better. Nothing is impossible and I hope one day to be a world champion.” During his visit, Hamato had the opportunity to watch and play with the top table tennis champions.
