Nadine El Sayed

Nadine El Sayed is a journalist and an associate professor of practice at the American University in Cairo (AUC). She held various leading editorial positions in several regional and international publications, including at Springer Nature, the biggest scientific publisher in the world, and Egypt Today and Business Today magazines. She also contributed as an editor, writer and researcher to a range of media outlets, including Shorouk Newspaper, Open Democracy, Nature Middle East, Al-Fanar Media and DW-TV Arabia. She was nominated twice for the Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalism Award and holds a PhD in media studies from the University of Westminster in the UK.
