Google celebrated the birth anniversary of prominent Egyptian science-fiction writer Ahmed Khaled Tawfik with a Google Doodle. Born in Tanta, Egypt, Tawfik graduated from Tanta University's medical school in 1985 and received his PhD in 1997.
