86-year old Egyptian Essam Nasser participated in the international 800-meter freestyle swim race in the 85 to 89-year-old category at the 2017 FINA World Masters Championships in Budapest.
Also, Adel Ragab took part of the international 800-meter freestyle swim race for 25 to 29 years old.
Earlier in July, Egyptian swimmer Farida Osman won a bronze medal at the FINA Swimming World Championships, becoming the first Egyptian to score a medal of any color in the championship.
The 2017 FINA World Masters Championships is taking place between August 7 and August 20 in Budapest. Around 10,000 participants hit the pools in five disciplines ranging from swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming and high diving.
