The Egyptian Armed Forces released a statement confirming that an Egyptian security officer had been “martyred” in a “shooting incident” on the border near the Rafah border crossing.
In the statement, posted on Facebook, the spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces said that an investigation had commenced regarding the incident.
