Egypt’s under-20 women’s volleyball team won the 2017 African Nations Championship, earning them a spot at the 2017 World Volleyball Championship. The Egyptian women’s team defeated Tunisia on 31 January at the Olympic Centre in Cairo, earning their seventh consecutive title since 2004. The match saw Egypt’s women completely dominate Tunisia in a best-of-three final. Egypt won the first match 3-0 (25-7, 25-20, 25-20) and the second match 3-1 (25-22, 25-6, 23-25, 25-9). The 2017 Volleyball Women’s U20 World Championship will take place from 7 to 16 July in the Mexican cities of Boca del Ríoand Córdoba Organized by the sport’s world governing body, Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), 16 teams are expected to compete in nineteenth edition of the competition….
