Bey2ollak, Egypt’s leading mobile application for crowd-sourcing traffic updates, has added a ‘Stories’ feature to its application.
Following in the footsteps of Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook, Bey2ollak is the first Egyptian startup to implement Stories in its application.
In a post on Facebook, Bey2ollak said that the new feature would allow users to share their moments on Egypt’s roads with their friends instantly.
Stories, an idea built on Snapchat’s ‘story’ feature, allows users to share images and videos of moments captured on their mobile phones to their followers. The images are maintained in a ‘story’ for just 24 hours.
Bey2ollak’s latest update is already live. With more than 1.3 million registered users in Cairo and Alexandria, it remains to be seen how this latest update will contribute to Beyollak’s goal of fighting traffic chaos.
