Karim El Sewedy is an Operations expert, whose work has focused on shaping modern operating models and helping organizations unlock growth through effective management and decision-making. He's currently at Retool, a $3.2 billion series C startup backed by Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator, where he has led key products and programs, including AI Agents launch, Assist growth, and Agency and Startup programs. He's shaped solutions that have been adopted by Amazon, OpenAI, Boeing, and Nvidia. Previously, El Sewedy was at McKinsey & Company and holds degrees in Economics from The Wharton School and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently based in New York.
