French President Emmanuel Macron made his first official visit to Egypt on Sunday afternoon, with his first destination being the Abu Simbel Temple in Egypt's Aswan governorate. The president and his wife, Brigitte Macron, were received by Antiquities Minister Khaled El-Anani, Tourism Minister Rania El-Mashat and Aswan Governor Ahmed Ibrahim.
