Egyptian athletes amassed 45 medals at this year’s Mediterranean games in Tarragona, Spain – placing 5th among the 25 competing nations. The Mediterranean games, usually held every four years, concluded today with an impressive showing from Egyptian athletes who won 18 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze medals at the competition.
