At least 500,000 Palestinians were left displaced following the seven-week conflict. More than 300,000 were seeking shelter at UNRWA shelters during the conflict.

Official figures have stated that more than 2,100 Palestinians, mostly civilians, were killed during Israel’s military operations. Another 11,000 Palestinians were also injured. Meanwhile, 64 Israeli soldiers and five Israeli civilians were among those killed.
