Pope Tawadros II meets Queen Elizabeth in the UK

Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II has met Queen Elizabeth in the United Kingdom (UK) on Tuesday at the Windsor Castle.

British Ambassador to Egypt John Casson announced the visit through his twitter account; Casson stated that the visit combines two parties with extensive experience and wisdom in regards to coexistence in an ever-changing world.

Casson also described the visit as a ‘historic’ one.

Pope Tawadros II has arrived to the UK on Friday and met with Queen Elizabeth for the first time.
