Egyptians Celebrate the First World Cup Qualification in 28 Years

Egyptians celebrated the 2018 World Cup Qualification for the first time since 1990 after beating Congo 2-1 on Sunday, October 8.

Mass celebrations have taken over the streets of Egypt celebrating the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers after 28 years of a long-awaited triumph.

The Pharaohs are seven-time African champions and have won their continental tournament four times since the last playing at a World Cup.

Egypt’s last appearance in the World Cup was in Italy in 1990.
