Egyptians After Salah’s Injury: We Know You Ramos, We ‘Memed’ you

After Saturday’s heated game between Real Madrid and Liverpool in the Champions League’s final, Egyptians took to social media to express their anger over what had happened to Egypt’s sweetheart Mohamed Salah and to ‘severely’ criticise Sergi Ramos who was the key reason behind Salah’s injury.

The fate of Salah’s participation in the World up remains unclear. He stated through his Twitter acount that it was a very tough night.

“But I am a fighter. Despite the odds, I’m confident thay I will be in Russia to make you all proud. Your love and support will give me the strength I need,” Salah says.

Outraged fans took to creating a petition online, which collected more than 150,000 signatures, demanding that UEFA and FIFA ”take measures against Ramos and similar players, using the video recordings of matches to keep the spirit of the game.”

Here is a list of tweets that will give you heads up on how much Egyptians adore Mo Salah, and why you should never injure him because you might end up memed, just like Ramos.
