Amira Sayed is a Cairo-based environment journalist and editor of local news at the Egyptian Gazette, the first English-language daily in the Middle East. She has been involved in writing about political, social and cultural issues in Egypt since 2013. She also contributes to Al Monitor. Amira Sayed is also Egypt's Representative at the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW).
