Cairo Governorate has referred the excessive pruning of trees at the Children’s Park in Heliopolis to the Public Prosecution and suspended all work at the site after an inspection revealed violations, according to an official statement. The park, also known as Hadiqat Al-Tifl, is managed by the Heliopolis Association. In coordination with Minister of Local Development and Environment Manal Awad, a committee comprising representatives from the Cairo General Authority for Cleaning and Beautification and the Nozha District inspected the park.…
