EgyptAir plans to introduce a new service connecting Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport in Australia to Cairo via Singapore Changi Airport starting from 2027 to create a direct link between Australia and Egypt. Sydney Airport confirmed the proposal on Wednesday, 9 September, following EgyptAir’s disclosure of the route at the El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt which ran from 8 to 10 September.
