Egypt will mark the start of Eid Al-Adha, one of Islam’s most sacred holidays, on Friday, 6 June, Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta announced on Tuesday evening. The announcement comes after the official sighting of the crescent moon marking the beginning of Dhul-Hijja, the final month of the Islamic lunar calendar. As a result, Wednesday, 28 May will be the first day of the month, and the Day of Arafat, considered the holiest day of Hajj, will fall on Thursday, 5 June.…
