Egypt’s unemployment rate declined to 6.4 percent in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024, down from 6.7 percent in the previous quarter, according to a report by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) on Saturday, 17 February. The report indicated that the country’s labour force grew by 2.8 percent, reaching 33.1 million individuals in Q4, compared to 32.2 million in Q3.
